We are all guilty of it! Almost all soda's have between 32 - 36 grams of sugar and a lot more for lime or lemonade products. Probably means nothing to you unless you've seen what 32 grams of sugar looks like.

If you are a calorie conscious eater, a gram scale is a great kitchen gadget to have. Try weighing one serving of uncooked pasta or penne to see how much (or how little) it looks on your plate. If you love pbj's for breakfast, weight your peanut butter, jam and bread and you'll find how quickly it adds up to over 600 calories. If you are a cereal-for-breakfast person, weight your cereal.
